Georgia Tech has been stripped of their 2009 ACC Championship, put on four years probation, and fined $100,000 by the NCAA. Demaryius Thomas, a star receiver for the ’09 football team, is alleged to have received clothing valued at $312 from former Yellow Jacket quarterback Calvin Booker while at Georgia Tech. The NCAA ruled Thomas ineligible and forced the university to forfeit their last three games of the ’09 season, including the ACC Championship.
